The staff at our Champion Transmissions service and repair center are all highly trained and certified technicians with one common goal in mind - quality service at honest prices. Our transmission center is diligent in applying the ATRA Member Code of Ethics to all of our transmission repair and diagnostic services for the purpose of better assisting our customers with their repair needs and concerns. Adherence to the ATRA Code of Ethics also helps ensure that when you bring in your vehicle for transmission service or repair you know that you are receiving honest and professional service from our technical staff. Our transmission technicians are always polite and courteous in their effort to provide you with the quality of service you want and deserve.

Jeff Walson - Owner / Transmission Specialist

I was raised in the South and was taught to treat people the way you would like to be treated and be totally honest and that is what I do. I started in the transmission business in 1977 mopping floors. I soon found out that transmission repair is where I was going to stay. With on the job training I began to do transmission services, remove and replace transmissions and even drove a tow truck for the shop. Finally I got the hands on training rebuilding transmissions. I started Champion Transmissions in 1992 and worked by myself for sometime before I needed help. I am honored to have Jim and Jose (aka Pony) working with me here for sometime now at Champion Transmissions. Thank you Conejo Valley for the best 20 years of my life.

Showing mechanical prowess at a young age in his father's transmission shop, Jim is very knowledgable in everything transmission from Hydros to stick shifts and to the constantly changing next generation transmissions of today. Multiple years experience analizing structural integrity and improvement of racing transmissions at a major racing manufacturer. All this podled together with the staff at Champion Transmission will give anyone buying our products, confidence knowing it was money well spent.
